Common Folk is pleased to announce a new fellowship and residency opportunity designed to support Artists of Color through creative space, financial support, mentorship, and community connection.
Located in North Adams, Massachusetts, Common Folk serves as a hub for artists, makers, and creatives across Berkshire County. Through this initiative, artists will receive resources to deepen their practice, build relationships, and share their work with the broader community.
Limited funds are available to help support participation and reduce barriers to access. Assistance related to travel, housing, materials, meals, or other accessibility needs may be discussed with finalists and awarded based on individual circumstances and available funding.
Residency dates will be determined in collaboration with selected artists. The residency period will begin before December 2026, and the established artist will receive one year (365 days) of studio access starting at the agreed-upon start date.
